City acquires Pizarro on loan from Roma

01/31/2012 - Manchester, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Manchester City acquired Chilean David Pizarro on loan for the rest of the season Tuesday from Italian side Roma.

Pizarro, 32, played under City manager Roberto Mancini at Inter Milan, but has played just seven matches this season for Roma.

Manchester City lost to Everton, 1-0, on Tuesday as Manchester United climbed even on points with the Premier League leaders. Pizarro should give Mancini an additional experienced option in midfield as the teams battle for the title.
